For the 3rd consecutive year, more U.S. adults have no trust at all in the media (36%) than trust it even a fair amount. Another 33% of Americans express “not very much” confidence. Truth-telling journalism remains one of the last bulwarks against unchecked power, and independent media can serve as a beacon in a fog of lies.
