The U.S. ranks quite low when compared to the rest of the world in recycling percentage. Of the major countries that track recycling data, the United States is ranked number 25 out of 32.

We know recycling isn't sexy or fun. But, our beautiful lands and country deserve better.....so do our future generations. Small steps make the day to help. Consider choosing something to focus on this America Recycles Day (November 15, 2024). Here are a few ways to get started:

♻️ Stop guessing. Find your city's guide to what they allow in curbside recycling. (It's as simple as a Google search of your city name along with terms like "recycling program.") Print it out. Keep it handy so that you know what to place in your recycling bin.

🗑 Take 1 item you normally throw into the trash and stop yourself. Find out if there's a better way to dispose of it. You have resources that can help:
