This could be one of the more impactful ways to spend your next 30-seconds this month! Indigenous peoples in the Amazon work hard to protect rainforests. After all, they not only help the environment by taking in carbon dioxide and giving off oxygen, but they serve as habitats for ~50% of the world’s plants and animals found on land. They also supply food, medicines and other plant-based products that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

This month, Rainforest Foundation US has the opportunity to win a grant (up to $100,000) continue their vital work supporting indigenous partners in the Amazon. Their work is vital to help end illegal deforestation by securing their land rights.
