6 Seriously Fun SeriousFun Pics That Will Bring Out Your Inner Child
SeriousFun Children’s Network ensures that kids living with serious illnesses enjoy a seriously fun time. The organization was established by film star Paul Newman in 1988 as a summer camp to nurture kids’ independence, self-sufficiency, confidence, and resilience in a safe and supportive environment.
Since its founding, Newman’s organization has expanded substantially. Today, there are 30 camps and programs around the world that lets kids living with illness be kids with the medical support they need. Over 130,000 kids and their family members attended a SeriousFun camp in 2016 alone! To say their work uplifts is an understatement. But don’t take our word for it. Check out the campers’ stories of courage, healing, and most of all, joy.
Let the SeriousFun campers having the time of their lives inspire you to do the same and support this great cause! (We dare you not to smile.)
